Perfectly built to withstand the elements, the Nereus utilises the best in waterproofing technology in a form and design code that emulates the natural organic curves of the ocean. The Nereus takes its name from the remotely operated underwater vehicle built by the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute of the same name. Nereus was only the third vehicle to reach the bottom of the Pacific Ocean’s Challenger Deep and was the first ever designed to transform from a guided, tethered robot to a free-swimming vehicle.
