The Incredible Sirius Tourbillon represents the pinnacle of fine watchmaking. French for ‘whirlwind’ the tourbillon complication resolves the impact of gravity upon the accuracy of fine timepieces. Housing the escapement in an ever revolving cage neutralises the impact on the hairspring inside it. Simple in concept, the tourbillon is devilishly difficult to produce and as such it continues to be held at the top of the watchmaking pyramid. The Sirius Tourbillon is a limited edition that pays tribute to the brightest star in the night sky. Sirius is twice the size but 25 times more luminous than our own Sun.
