Thomas Earnshaw and his famed chronometers were rewarded and recognized by the Board of Longitude in 1805 for their work in helping to open up the seas to safe and accurate passage around the world. The LONGITUDE timepiece from Earnshaw is a fitting tribute to the ingenuity, intelligence, and grace in the design of the works from Earnshaw.
