Working in a monochrome style with the occasional hints of blue and peach, Noritake’s beautifully expressed one-line illustrations still manage to evoke a sense of happiness in oneself. UNDONE has the privilege of working with Noritake for the second time, allowing you to wear his most loved illustration on your arm.
The inspiration for “The Pointing Boy” stems from the combination of Noritake’s boy illustrations and giving the boy’s arms the possibility to tell you the time. The simple line work and timid smile often produce a slight giggle or humorous smile. This emotion is something that the artist wanted to give to the wearer of this piece, producing those extra smiles on your face throughout the day. Each watch will come with quick-release straps, delivered to you in a black velvet pouch and a special Noritake Box.
